Wikipedia defines friendship as: Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behaviour between two or more social entities. This article focuses on the notion specific to interpersonal relationships. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection. Friends will welcome each other’s company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.

Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating on a consistent basis:

I love my friends. I try so hard to be loyal and to help and to understand. There are so many people that I call friends that I would have their back even if I don’t talk to them on a regular basis. So why the need to write about friends…

What if you see something in a GOOD friend that makes her sad? Do you try to help? Do you make suggestions? Do you sit back and wait and watch till it all blows up? Do you stand up to what ever is making her depressed and sad?

Its so hard to know that fine line. But I still wish I could make my friends happy. Wish I could make them understand what we see. We are the ones that are looking in from the outside and we don’t see what life is like where you walk. But can you just see it from our side. Can’t we show you the signs of abuse or the signs of danger or the reason for your depression?

On a better note. My best friend is my Hubby… I love him. He makes me happy. He has taught me what love is. He treats me like I should be treated. He is my favorite person to hang out with. I love being with him. He completes me. He is my lover and my best friend. I am so grateful  for him. He is my prince charming, my knight in shinning armor.
