What is in a name?

Your name is something you go by your whole life. It represents who you are and could also represent what your parents were smoking when they decided on your name!! Dallas isn’t really Dallas but Kenneth. He didn’t want to to that to Tyler so Ty got plain BOB name.( AKA Plain, boring, common…..)  We like it. Any kids in the future will be plain Jane ( or BOB) names to.

Several times in your life you will be know for your name. When I was a missionary for our church I wore my Name on my name tag, along with the name of our Church AND the name Jesus Christ. How we acted represented both.

Being married I took on Brown and get to give that name to my children with a legacy to live up to.

So… Why the weird random NAME post…. A poor little girl in London has 25 of them. She is known as Autumn Brown but has 25…THAT IS RIGHT 25 middle names. All 25 are famous boxers names. Mom and dad have a obsession ( now that is an understatment) for boxing. ( Geesh Nicky.. you don’t even have one!!! )

Her full name is Autumn Sullivan Corbett Fitzsimmons Jeffries Hart Burns Johnson Willard Dempsey Tunney Schmeling Sharkey Carnera Baer Braddock Louis Charles Walcott Marciano Patterson Johansson Liston Clay Frazier Foreman Brown.

We will not be naming our next child  ( insert first name) java, c#, C++, ajax, maintosh, Microsoft, Vista, ebay Brown.  If that is the case we are done having kids!!!

  1. Oh you might pick a normal name, but why not mix up the spelling? That is another one of my most favorite things, when it comes to naming children. To give them a perfectly normal pretty name, but spell it in a way, that no one can recognize it.

Poor Autumn. She’ll probably change it, on her eighteenth birthday!

    Gracious!

  2. ROFL!

  3. Her parents should be slapped!

  4. Stop rubbing it in! 🙂 Mom and dad made my name simple! 🙂
